Today we are celebrating the 4th and 2nd years of life for our two favorite girls! These little ladies popped right out (especially Kylie who was almost born in a borrowed car with leather seats, but was polite enough to wait until 20 minutes after I walked through the hospital doors. Thanks, kid.) and hopped right in to the Crazy Life-Mobile that is our family from Day One. They bring a whole lot of joy, a good dose of chaos, and an everyday measure of sanctification.
We love those two more than they’ll ever know. Girls, if you ever read this, know that I loved you enough to write about you on a blog that your grandparents and a handful of other cool people read. My love is big.
Also, if you remember today’s party, cut your ol’ Mamma some slack. It was you who requested a “striped elephant” birthday party. Know that your mother struggles with Pinterest, procrastination, and knowing the best way to sculpt an elephant out of rice crispies treats.
Here, have your own party, dear readers. A party of the mind 🙂
